空は曇っているが蒸し暑くなく、雲が積み重なっているが雨は降っていない。まさにアジサイを楽しむのに絶好の時期だ。今回は有名な明星山三室戸寺に行き、この都会の喧騒から離れた仏門の静かな地で、美しい花の海に浸ることにした。
天空阴沉而不闷热，云层堆叠却没下雨，正是看紫阳花的好季节。这次我们去了著名的明星山三室户寺，进入远离城市喧嚣的佛门净土，沉浸于宁静美丽的花海之中。
The sky was overcast, but the air was neither humid nor stifling. Clouds layered thickly overhead, yet no rain fell. It was the perfect day to enjoy hydrangeas. On this occasion, I visited the famous Myōjōzan Mimuroto-ji Temple, a serene Buddhist sanctuary far removed from the noise of the city, to immerse myself in a sea of flowers.
アジサイ
京都府宇治市にある三室戸寺は千年の歴史を持つ寺で、「花の寺」としても知られている。寺の庭園は静かで安らかであり、四季折々の花が古い建物に鮮やかな彩りを添えている。
春はツツジが一面ピンク色の海原を作り、夏はハスの花が池に静かに咲き、秋は三重塔の前で紅葉が燃えるように色づき、冬は250株の枝垂れ梅が静かな庭園を飾っている。
そして春と夏が交差する梅雨の時期には、三室戸寺はアジサイの海となっている。アジサイ園では、三室戸寺は1万株以上のアジサイを植えており、品種も多く、白から濃い紫まで、色とりどりの美しさが広がっている。アジサイの花の海に身を置くと、まるで童話の世界に入ったような気分になる。花々が陽光の下で輝き、微風に揺れる度に幻想的な感覚を与える。寺の古い建物とアジサイが互いに映え合い、独特の調和の取れた美しい景色を作り出している。
坐落于京都府宇治市的三室户寺已有千年之久的历史，素有“花之寺”美誉。寺庙庭园清净安宁，四时常在的花朵给古旧的建筑添上了一份鲜活色彩。
春天，杜鹃花将庭院淹成一片茫茫的粉红色；夏天，池中莲花静静绽放；秋季，三重塔前枫叶如同火烧；冬季，250株垂梅点缀着幽静的庭园。
而在春夏之交的梅雨季节，三室户寺正是一片紫阳花海。三室户寺在花园里种植了上万株紫阳花，品种繁多，从白色到深紫，色彩斑斓，美不胜收。置身于花海中，仿佛进入了一个童话世界。花朵在阳光下闪耀，微风拂过，花团攒动，给人一种梦幻般的感觉。寺庙的古朴与紫阳花的鲜明相映成趣，景色独特而又和谐。
Mimuroto-ji, located in Uji City, Kyoto Prefecture, is a temple with over a thousand years of history, also known as the “Temple of Flowers.” Its tranquil gardens are peaceful and soothing, with seasonal blooms adding vibrant color to the ancient buildings throughout the year.
In spring, azaleas spread out in a vast sea of pink. In summer, lotus flowers bloom quietly in the ponds. In autumn, the area around the three-story pagoda bursts into a blaze of fiery colors as the leaves change. And in winter, 250 weeping plum trees bring gentle charm to the quiet gardens.
In the rainy season—when spring and summer intersect—Mimuroto-ji transforms into an ocean of hydrangeas. In the temple’s hydrangea garden, over 10,000 bushes bloom in a variety of colors and varieties, ranging from pure white to deep purple. Standing amidst this sea of flowers feels like stepping into a fairytale. The blossoms shimmer under the sunlight and sway in the breeze, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The old temple buildings and the hydrangeas complement one another, forming a uniquely harmonious and breathtaking landscape.
朱印・御守・神籤
三室戸寺ではアジサイの姿が至る所に見られる。ここにはアジサイの御守やアジサイのハンカチ、そしてアジサイの絵が描かれた御朱印帳がある。
御朱印といえば、三室戸寺の限定朱印も見逃せない。6、7、8月の切り絵朱印はアジサイとハスをテーマにしており、アジサイが華やかで、ハスが涼しげで、切り絵の技法で立体感が出ており、鑑賞にも収集にも価値がある。
在三室户寺，紫阳花的身影无处不在。这里有紫阳花的御守、方巾，还有封面画着紫阳花的御朱印帐。
提到朱印，三室户寺的限定朱印也不容错过。6、7、8月的剪纸朱印以紫阳花和莲花为主题，紫阳花灿烂，莲花清凉，通过剪纸地工艺作出层层叠叠的立体感，兼具欣赏和收藏价值。
At Mimuroto-ji, hydrangeas are found not only in the gardens but also throughout the temple grounds in the form of beautifully crafted items. These range from hydrangea-themed protective charms (omamori), handkerchiefs, to goshuincho (temple stamp books) adorned with hydrangea illustrations.
Speaking of goshuin (temple stamps), the seasonal limited versions at Mimuroto-ji are not to be missed. From June to August, special kirie goshuin (papercut-style stamps) are available, themed around hydrangeas and lotuses. The hydrangeas are bright and cheerful, while the lotuses have a cool, calming presence. The papercut technique adds depth and dimension, making these stamps not just collectibles but miniature works of art.
ハート形のアジサイの御守は興味深い伝説がある。三室戸寺のアジサイ園では、時折ハート形のアジサイが見られ、それを見ると素晴らしい恋愛が訪れると言われている。運良く、私たちもハート形のアジサイを見つけた。その時、2人の日本のおばあさんが私よりも興奮してそのアジサイを指差して教えてくれたので、私もその幸運を喜んで受け入れた。
还有心形的紫阳花御守，关于这个心形御守有一个有趣的小传说。在三室户寺的紫阳花园里，偶有心形的紫阳花，而据说看到了心形的紫阳花就会得到一段美好的爱情。非常有幸！我们真的找到了一株心形的紫阳花。当时旁边是两个日本的老奶奶，比我还要兴奋地把心形的紫阳花指给我看，而我也乐颠颠的接受了这份好运。
One particular charm featuring a heart-shaped hydrangea is tied to a fascinating legend. In the hydrangea garden, visitors occasionally come across a naturally occurring heart-shaped blossom. It is said that finding one foretells the arrival of a wonderful romance. Luckily, we managed to spot one ourselves. Just then, two elderly Japanese women nearby, even more excited than we were, eagerly pointed it out and told us about its meaning. I gratefully embraced the blessing.
こうして見ると、三室戸寺は恋愛運を祈るのに良い場所のようだ。本堂の前には恋愛成就を祈る絵馬や恋愛運勢に関するお神籤（みくじ）がある。普通の神籤は200円で、中にはとてもかわいいお守りが入っている。そして大人気なのは源氏物語の恋愛運勢神籤（みくじ）（100円)である。三室戸寺自体も源氏物語と深い関わりがあり、多くの源氏物語の読者やファンがここを訪れる。
这样看，三室户寺似乎是祈求恋爱运势的好地方。在本堂的门前，就有用来祈愿恋爱运的绘马和关于恋爱运势的神签。普通的神签200円，里面会有一个十分可爱的挂件。最受欢迎的是源氏物语的恋爱运势神签（100円)。三室户寺本身和源氏物语也有着很深的渊源，有很多源氏物语的读者粉丝慕名前来。
This moment made me realize that Mimuroto-ji is also known as a spiritual spot for love and matchmaking. In front of the main hall, visitors can find votive plaques (ema) for love prayers and omikuji (fortune slips) related to romantic destiny. The standard omikuji cost 200 yen and include adorable little charms inside. One of the most popular options is the Tale of Genji Love Omikuji (100 yen). Mimuroto-ji has historical ties to the Tale of Genji, and fans of the literary classic often visit the temple.
小さなアジサイマーケット
アジサイの見ごろは長く、6月初めから7月まで続き、その間に色を変えながら、人々に様々な視覚的な楽しみを提供する。三室戸寺のアジサイ園を出ると、小さなお店が立ち並び、アジサイに関連するキャンディやスイーツが並び、アジサイの模様をしたカップや器具が梅雨の風情を満たしている。また、宇治や京都の市内でも、この時期に合わせてアジサイスイーツやアイスクリームが多く店頭に並び、味覚的な楽しみも提供している。
紫阳花的花期漫长，从六月初一直持续到七月，期间甚至会不断变换颜色，让人总能觉得新鲜，一饱眼福。从三室户寺的紫阳花园出来，是一片小小的市集，各种紫阳花样式的糖果、点心琳琅满目，还有紫阳花纹样的杯具器皿，承装着满满的梅雨风物诗。而在宇治和京都市内，也应时当令地上架了许多紫阳花形状的甜品、冰淇淋等，让人能够切实品味到这份鲜甜。
Hydrangeas remain in bloom from early June to July, slowly shifting in color and offering different visual delights throughout the season. Just outside the hydrangea garden, small shops line the path, selling hydrangea-themed candies, sweets, and tableware that capture the spirit of Japan’s rainy season. Around Uji and Kyoto city, local cafes and pastry shops also offer hydrangea-themed desserts and ice creams during this time of year, giving visitors a taste of the season to go along with the floral scenery.

南部クリーンセンター/伏見区
定番人気の三室戸寺のほか、今年話題になっていた南部クリーンセンターのアジサイ園。三室戸寺より1週間ほど早く見頃を迎え、足を運んだ6月3週目には1万株のアジサイが満開だった。
南部クリーンセンター環境学習施設「さすてな京都」は、工場見学もできる施設。小さなお子様がいるファミリーでの観光におすすめしたい。
除了常年备受青睐的三室戸寺外，今年备受热议的还有南部クリーンセンター的紫阳花园。这里比三室戸寺提早一周迎来最佳观赏期，六月第三周到访时，一万株紫阳花已全面盛放。
在南部クリーンセンター的环境学习设施「さすてな京都」（Sasutena Kyoto）这里，还能进入当地工厂参观，特别推荐带小朋友的家庭前往观光。
In addition to the always-popular Mimuroto-ji, this year’s trending hydrangea spot was the garden at the Nanbu Clean Center in Kyoto’s Fushimi Ward. The flowers there bloom about a week earlier than those at Mimuroto-ji. When we visited in the third week of June, 10,000 hydrangeas were in full bloom. The site includes the “Sustaina Kyoto”, an environmental education facility which offers factory tours, making it a great destination for families with young children.
智積院/東山区
京都中心部から近い場所でアジサイ観光できる穴場といえば、智積院。美しく整えられた境内を進むと、満開のアジサイがぱっと迎えてくれる。
観光スポットとして人気の国立文化博物館や三十三間堂から徒歩でいける場所にあるのが、何よりも魅力。来年のアジサイ巡りプランに加えてみてはいかがだろうか。
若要说在京都市中心附近能观赏紫阳花的绝佳去处，当属智积院。漫步于精心打理的优美寺院内，盛放的紫阳花便会跃入眼帘。

For those looking to enjoy hydrangeas closer to central Kyoto, Chishaku-in Temple in Higashiyama is a hidden gem. As you walk through its beautifully maintained grounds, you are greeted by a burst of vibrant hydrangeas. Its location is also ideal—just a short walk from the Kyoto National Museum and the famous Sanjūsangendō Hall. Why not add this spot to your hydrangea-viewing itinerary next year?
